Lifting and bracing frame kit which provides an effective and safe way to lift and brace your bodyshell. As featured here: Lifting Frame Video
The kit bolts into the car using all existing bolt locations (no cutting/welding needed).
Provides very stiff bracing to the bodyshell across the doors and A and B-pillar lines.
Provides 4 lifting points, two at the A pillar and two at the pillar.
Door bars are set inwards to still allow a door to be offered up at a later stage (to check fit etc).
Various additional holes if wish to add further diagonal braces etc.
Keeps bodyshell rigid during lifting and restoration and brings a convenient and safe way of lifting (and re-installing) the bodyshell on your TR chassis.
For the TR4, TR4A, TR5, TR250, TR6.
Two variations of the kit – one for TR4/TR4A/TR5/TR250 and one for the TR6 – you can choose your car at ordering. The kit for the TR6 differs only with the B-pillar diagonal braces and their lower brackets, otherwise the two kits are identical.
Designed by BaulyCars, the kit is laser cut and brake-press folded in mild steel – we ship the kit unfinished (for use as-is, or we recommend using a simple rattle-can paint finish as shown in the video, given the kit will be bumped/scratched etc in service).
Frame bolt holes accept M10 or 3/8″ bolts, with A and B pillar brackets using same bolts as used for the bodyshell – bolts not included.
